Reelgen Technologies PTE. LTD. is an independent platform provider offering AI-powered tools and services that enable users to generate commercial content and other creative outputs. We understand that your privacy is important and that you care about how your information is used and shared online. We respect and value the privacy of everyone who visits our websites and uses our platform, and only collect and use information in ways that are consistent with your rights and obligations under applicable laws.

 

This Policy describes how Reelgen Technologies PTE. LTD. (“Reelgen”, “our”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and discloses personal information about you when you use our websites reelgen.ai (“Site”), and our application programming interfaces, software, tools, data and documentation offered on the Site (collectively, “Services”). For purposes of this Privacy Policy, Reelgen is the data controller of your information, and “you” and “your” means you, the person using the Services.

By using any of our Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy and our collection, use and disclosure of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy applies only to our collection and processing of information about users of the Services, including individuals who access and use the Services on behalf of a business customer.

 

This Privacy Policy does not apply to information we process on behalf of enterprise customers, which is governed by our customer contracts. If you have questions about the use of information by a business customer, please contact that customer directly.

 

This Policy also does not apply to any websites or platforms operated by third parties that are linked to our Site, nor does it apply to third-party content, data, applications, or materials. We are not responsible for the privacy or security of, or the information found on, these third-party sites or platforms.

 

We advise you to review the privacy policies of any third-party website or platform before providing information to them. Our inclusion of any third-party link does not imply endorsement of the content or the operator.

 

3. What Information Do We Collect?

 

We collect certain information about you from different sources, as described below.

 

Information You Provide Us

 Account and contact information.When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and account password. We may also collect additional information associated with your account, such as your phone number, business or company name, position, mailing address, and social media handles. Depending on your subscription plan, we may collect payment information and transaction history. All payment data is processed and stored by our third-party payment provider.

 User Input.When you use our Services, we collect personal information contained in the text, scripts, images, audio, videos, and other input you provide, together with any metadata associated with such input. As described in this Privacy Policy, we may use this input to operate, maintain, and improve the Services, including enhancing the models and functionalities that support the platform, where permitted by applicable law. Some features may require us to process identifiable visual elements within uploaded videos or images solely for the purpose of enabling the Service features you request.

 Processing of uploaded images or videos.Certain features of the Services require us to process images or videos that you upload in order to enable content generation, analysis, or other functionalities you request. Such processing may involve identifying visual elements within the uploaded materials solely to deliver the corresponding features.

 Information posted to the Services.Certain features of the Services may allow you to share templates, creative materials, or other content with other users, or make such content publicly accessible. We collect any user-generated content (“UGC”) that you choose to upload, share, or otherwise make available through the Services. UGC may be stored, displayed, reproduced, published, or otherwise used by us or by others, with or without attribution, depending on how you choose to share it. Other users or third parties with access to your UGC may also view, use, or further distribute such content.

 Communications information.We collect your name, email, and any other information you provide in communications with us, including customer support interactions.

 

Information Collected Automatically

 Device information.Device type, operating system, browser type, unique identifiers, and IP address.

 Location information.Approximate location based on your IP address.

 Usage activity.Pages viewed, referring URLs, feature usage, time stamps, clickstream data, and other interaction information.

 

Information From Third Parties

We may receive information about you from:

 Integration partners. Information we receive when you connect the Services to an integration service.

 Login integrations. Information we receive when you choose to access the Services through a login integration or a Single Sign On service.

 Social media platforms. Information we receive from social media platforms when you interact with us on those platforms.

 

3A. Browser Extension Data (Chrome Extension Use)

When you use our optional Chrome Extension ("Extension"), we only process webpage data that you explicitly choose to submit. The Extension does not automatically monitor, track, or collect your browsing history or any webpage content without your direct interaction.

Information Processed Through the Extension

Upon your explicit action (such as clicking the Extension button), the Extension may access and temporarily process the following information solely for the purpose of generating the requested AI output:

The URL of the active tab;

Webpage content visible to you, including text, images, and videos displayed on the screen. This expressly excludes underlying HTML source code, scripts, cookies, local storage, background network activity, or any technical elements not directly visible to you;

Publicly displayed media elements that you intentionally choose to include.

No Automatic Collection

The Extension does not perform background data collection, does not passively harvest browsing activity, and does not access any webpage data unless you intentionally initiate such access.

Purpose of Processing

Any data processed through the Extension is used solely to perform the functionality you request—for example, analyzing visible page content to generate an AI-created video or similar output. Such data is not used for advertising, profiling, analytics, or any other purpose unrelated to the Extension's core functionality.

Retention and Storage

Webpage data submitted through the Extension is processed transiently and deleted after generating the requested output, and in no case retained for longer than one day.

We do not store webpage content, build user profiles, or retain any such data beyond what is strictly necessary to complete your request.

Sharing

We do not sell or disclose webpage data collected through the Extension to third parties. Data may be shared only with service providers strictly necessary to generate the requested output, and only under binding confidentiality and data protection obligations.

Permissions Use

The Extension's browser permissions (including activeTab, scripting, storage, and declared host permissions) are used solely to enable the user-initiated functionalities described above and for no other purpose.

 

4. How Do We Use Your Information and for What Purpose?

 

We use your personal information for the following purposes:

 Providing and managing your account.

We use your personal information to create, maintain, and administer your account, verify your identity, enable access to the Services, and process the inputs you provide in order to generate outputs such as commercial content, creative materials, or other requested features. This processing is necessary to perform our contractual obligations and provide the Services to you.
